Wisconsin Spring Primary Election: April 6, 2021

Voter Registration March 17 is the deadline to register to vote online or by mail for the April 6 election. After this date, register to vote in person at your municipal clerk’s office or other voter registration site by April 2. You can also register to vote at your polling place on April 6.

Absentee Ballot Deadlines Request an absentee ballot by legal deadline of April 1 (recommended deadline is March 23 so that your ballot can be mailed in time). The U.S. Postal Service recommends mailing your absentee ballot by March 30 so that it can arrive at your municipal clerk’s office in time for the April 6 election. After March 30, you should hand deliver your completed ballot to your municipal clerk’s office or a designated dropbox. You can also deliver your completed ballot to your polling place on April 6 before polls close.
