You can help families in Afghanistan

Madison College recognizes and respects the Ho-Chunk Nation as a community partner. In the spirit of this, Madison College is coordinating two efforts that support their donation drive.

Tuesday, Sept. 7 until Friday, Sept. 17 - Madison College staff, students, and community members can drop off items in donation bins at any metro or regional campus welcome desk. Drop off at the Truax Campus will be in the Intercultural Exchange, Room C1430.

Friday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.: We will host a drive-thru event at the Madison College Truax Campus – Health and Technology Building (1705 Hoffman St.).

Financial contributions
The Ho-Chunk Nation promoted the Kindle Project Afghanistan Fund for those who would like to give monetary donations. The Kindle Project Afghanistan Fund provides support to organizations working with artists, women, and girls who are at risk inside Afghanistan or have managed to relocate outside of the country.

Their goal is to raise a minimum of $250,000 as soon as possible.
