This is a common scam where an attacker would impersonate someone with authority (such as a high-level manager) in an attempt to coerce the recipient into purchasing a large amount of gift cards and sending the redemption codes to them. This email can be identified as a scam by inspecting the sender's email address as it came from a randomized email address.
